Fundraisers
Saturday November 7, 2026
Since 2010, the annual East Avenue Grocery Run has raised more than $650,000 to provide emergency food and meals for our neighbors in need by distributing funds to a host of food pantries in the greater Rochester area.
You can help raise funds for Loop Ministries Food Pantry through the East Avenue Grocery Run!
It’s easy! Just choose from these two options:
Select an Event and Donate Your Entry Fee
Click here to Register for the “Friends of Loop Ministries Participant Team”
Join the fun of the in-person races and festivities on Race Day, Nov. 7.
Choose a 10k, 5k, or 1k run/walk, starting and ending at Third Presbyterian Church, corner of Meigs Street and East Avenue.
You can also invite kiddies from your family, friends, and neighbors to join the Boogie for Broccoli Fun Run with the Grocery Guy (free; no registration)
Do a “Virtual Run” between October 31st & November 2nd
Click here to Register for the “Friends of Loop Ministries Fundraiser Team”
You choose the time, place, and distance. Make a direct donation, no run/walk required.
This option will remain open for a few weeks after the Run, but it is always best to do it now/soon, while it is fresh in your mind.
Note: Not only are all donations to Friends of Loop Ministries‘ Participant and Fundraiser Teams credited directly to Loop, but also, after the Run, the organizers distribute additional funds from race proceeds and generous donors, in proportion to each organization‘s participation and fundraising results. So, the more we can raise now, the more we can receive from the after-race bonus pot!
