Hot Meals Program
The Hot Meals Program holds two meals each month. They are:
Chestnut Café Supper
Chestnut Cafe is held on the 2nd Wednesday of every month.
It is a community dinner for individuals with mental health issues and is publicized through Rochester’s Mental Health Association.
It is run by the Reformation Lutheran Church with support from Loop Ministries.
Events include:
- A voluntary bible study
- A hot supper
- A praise service (optional)
Food for the Soul Luncheon
Food for the Soul is run on the 4th Wednesday of the Month.
It is run by the Reformation Lutheran Church with support from Loop Ministries.
This program consists of:
- An optional worship service
- Hot sit down lunch
- Groceries are handed to clients
- Nutrition lesson
Volunteering
We are always in need of help at these events.
Tasks include:
- Working in the kitchen
- Serving food
- Setting up tables, chairs and place settings for the meal
- Helping on the grocery line
